I have been a practicing licensed midwife since 2017 and am the co-owner of BirthWise. I have had the immense privilege of serving as a primary provider at countless births, each one a unique and cherished experience.
I hold certification in aromatherapy for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am delighted to incorporate essential oils into your care. As a mother of four children, each with their unique birth stories, I have experienced a c-section and three VBACs, two of which occurred in my home. I recognize the importance of being informed, empowered, and supported in making choices.  I am grateful for the opportunity to practice evidence-based care and utilize shared decision-making while providing a safe and respectful environment for all birthing individuals.

I’ve had the joy of welcoming many families into parenthood as a registered nurse and a licensed midwife. I believe in nurturing birth experiences that are safe, informed, and deeply personal — whether you’re planning a home birth, water birth, or birth-center delivery. At home, I’m equally passionate about life beyond the birthing suite. As a mother of five wonderful children I’ve lived through everything from mellow early births to full-on whirlwind deliveries, and each one has shaped how I support you. When I’m not caring for families, you’ll usually find me on our family’s farm, caring for the flock, tending the land, and soaking up the peace of nature — it grounds me and reminds me of the beauty of life’s rhythms. I’m honored to walk alongside you in this amazing journey of birth and becoming a parent. Together we’ll build a space of trust, empowerment, and joyful expectation, one birth story at a time.

After earning my CPM credential in 2020, I began my journey as a licensed midwife, drawn to the profession by a deep-seated passion for supporting mothers and their families. Joining BirthWise, I was eager to be part of a team that not only provides exceptional care to our clients but also supports each other in our shared mission. This is the profession I was destined for; I look forward to every single day I spend at “work” and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

I am a proud mom to three incredible sons. Embracing motherhood myself has been a transformative experience, deepening my empathy and commitment to the mothers I support. I look forward to helping guide more families in their unique journeys

Not too long ago, I chose BirthWise for the arrival of my two beautiful babies—an experience that transformed my life and ignited a calling I couldn’t ignore. In 2021, I joined BirthWise as a student midwife, beginning a journey filled with purpose, growth, and deep dedication. Over the years of my training, I had the privilege of supporting families as a doula, birth assistant and as a primary midwife under supervision. Each role strengthened my passion for birth work and shaped the midwife I was becoming. Today, I am honored to serve families as a fully Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife with the BirthWise team. This career is truly the fulfillment of a dream—and every family I meet continues to inspire and enrich the work I love so deeply. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your own beautiful journey into parenthood.

For over two decades, I’ve been privileged to serve as a licensed midwife in our community, welcoming countless babies into their families’ lives. In 2019, my colleague Sara and I formed a partnership practice, blending our unique personalities and expertise to provide even better care for families.

Today, my journey has taken a new direction as I’ve transitioned into primarily an administrative role at BirthWise. Although my day-to-day activities have shifted, I continue to cherish every opportunity for attending a birth. In this new role, I am committed to empowering women and families, ensuring their journey into parenthood is as enriching and fulfilling as possible. This shift allows me to broaden my impact, and support BirthWise, as well as our community, in a new and meaningful way.

As a mom of two, I understand firsthand how important a supportive, organized, and caring environment is during every stage of the parenting journey. My love for families and my passion for creating a smooth, welcoming experience makes this role deeply meaningful to me. Whether I’m helping schedule appointments, keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes, or offering a friendly face at the front desk, I’m committed to being an essential part of our community.

You can usually find me cheering on my kids at their sporting events, wrapped up in a good book, or enjoying the sweet joy of holding the beautiful BirthWise babies. I’m known for my organization and dependability, qualities that help keep our space calm, clear, and supportive for all who walk through our doors.
